Organic compound contains large number of carbon atoms and is made by covalent bond. It is difficult to break bond at ordinary temperature. It requires large amount of heat energy to break the covalent bond. So, organic compound burns in the presence of oxygen and combustion of organic compound is spontaneous process. Hence, organic compounds are combustible in nature.
